Description
🎯 Learning objectives
By the end of this course, the participant is able to:
- say who carries responsibility for food safety and what that changes at their own workstation;
- name the texts that apply in Luxembourg and what each one governs;
- recognise the four hazard families in a real kitchen or store room situation;
- name the three routes of cross-contamination and the action that cuts each one;
- tell cleaning from disinfecting and explain why the order of the two is never negotiable;
- run a full cleaning protocol, rinse included, and explain why the rinse is critical wherever food is handled;
- read and complete a cleaning schedule, and know what an inspection will ask to see.

🧭 Teaching methods
- Professional voice-over on every screen, explaining rather than reading the screen aloud. The course works just as well listened to as read.
- No dosage learnt by heart: the course teaches where the correct value is read, on the product data sheet, because two similar-looking disinfectants require different dilutions and contact times.
- Field situations rather than definitions: every notion is set in a real kitchen, store room or dishwashing situation.
- Interactive exercises at every stage: flip cards, matching, commented true or false.
- Resume at any time: progress is saved, the participant picks up where they left off.
- Any device: computer, tablet and phone, with nothing to install.
✅ Assessment
Each module ends with an 8-question quiz built on concrete situations rather than definitions to recite. The pass mark is 75%, that is 6 correct answers out of 8. Every answer is commented, including correct ones, because the explanation carries the practical rule that goes with it. The quiz can be retaken as often as needed.
🏅 Certification
A personal certificate of training is issued to every participant who completes the three modules. It states the skills acquired, the duration and the date, and carries ETIC's approval number as a training body in Luxembourg, no. 10076336/12.
For a cleaning contractor this is a commercial document as much as a regulatory one: it allows the client to demonstrate, during an inspection, that the people working on its premises have been trained, as required by Annex II Chapter XII of Regulation 852/2004.
💼 Corporate pricing
